I was catching up on a backlog of old news feeds and I came across the following video:

Guess who is going to pick up these games as soon as they come out?

If you said me, then you are right! I love old school final fantasy games! After VII, I never got into them any more.

Maybe I’ll do a quick review when Apple/Square Enix final release them.

Was Final Fantasy VII the first one for the original PlayStation? That is the first (and thus far, only) FF game I have played extensively (and enjoyed). It’s also one of the few games I have finished (at least, I think I finished it).

FF & FF2 for iPhone are certainly on my list as well. Have you tried any other RPG’s for iPhone? I’m currently working on “Dungeon Hunter,” but also have “Assasin’s Creed,” “Reign of Swords,” & “Underworlds.” (I do have others, just can’t recall at the moment). I’ve really got to start writing reviews for these as well.

i haven’t really found any other good ones on the iPhone. I think the best one that I found was a free Zelda clone that played pretty good.

How was the dungeon hunter?

I guess I’m behind in my news. Square Enix released it in Feb. I’ll be downloading FF1 when I get home to wifi.

I’ll be writing a review for Dungeon Hunter soon(ish). The short version is good graphics, decent sound, decent (though linear) story, good gameplay. Don’t like: restarting level every time app is exited, long (X3) load times.
